For four decades, Kingsway Christian College has been a dedicated learning environment, built to nurture generations of young people to find and develop their faith in God. As we celebrate our 40 Year Anniversary in 2024 and reflect on the journey so far, it is our prayer that the legacy of faith and excellence we have built together will continue to inspire generations to come.
In our celebrations, we acknowledge and thank each teacher, staff member, student and parent who has been a part of the Kingsway Christian College journey since 1984. Your stories have become our story and your dedication, commitment, and unwavering support have been the cornerstones of our success.
Kingsway Christian College opened its doors to 110 students, 6 teachers and 1 Principal.
The first placement of the Primary play equipment.
Our first Year 12 Graduates.
The first Year 12 production of Pygmalion at the Stirling Theatre in Osborne Park
The purpose-built Pre-Primary facility was added.
The first Bibbulmun Hike
The Merriwa Campus was opened.
Saw the completion of the Kingsway Centre; an Administration, Music, Drama and Gymnasium complex.
The new Commonwealth funded BER Primary school classroom block was officially opened by then Deputy Prime Minister, Julia Gillard. The project provided five classrooms plus an enclosed activity area and specialist Music and Art areas as well as refurbishment of the grounds.
A new Science Block was opened by the Chief Scientist of WA, consisting of six Science Labs, a Science Office and Preparation Area and an upgrade of the Home Economics and Media facilities was also completed during Term 1.
The commencement of the purpose-built Design Technology, Arts and Media building as part of the 2022 – 2024 Masterplan.
Work commenced on a new 900-seat Auditorium and was completed for the start of Term 3, 2017.
