Girl Power

Pastoral Care across the College involves having a proactive approach that encourages students to build lifelong friendships, coping and resilience and making wise choices. Girl Power and Good Guys programme fits beautifully into the pastoral care with the Chaplains actively involved. This programme is delivered to all students in Year 4 and teaches friendship skills and conflict resolution. It catches students at a stage when they are able to problem solve and strengthen their relationships and choices they are making. This particular programme ran for a 6 week period across Terms 2 and 3.

Dads' and Lads' Breakfast

The 2015 Lads' and Dads' Breakfast held on the 9th September, was a huge success with great weather, a great turn out, a great guest speaker sharing an incredible message and great fun all round with fire pits, a casting competition organised by Getaway Outdoors with great prizes and some cricket. Some of the feedback received was this was the dads' favourite event so far.

It was great to see so many dads connecting with one another and coming out to really support their son or sons through their schooling. It goes to show we really have such great examples and role models of dads in our College community.
We had lots of dads raving about the short message Ps Mark Varaghese of Kingdomcity, our guest speaker gave on the morning. For him to come and share and pray for all the men was such a blessing.
